She does this by creating powerful learning experiences, challenging others and organizations to maximize their strengths, and maintaining focus on strategic applications, all while getting results. Deb helps her clients reflect on the right questions, take smart risks, and develop effective teams. She coaches executives and mid-level managers to lead effectively within their organizations. Under her leadership organizations have bloomed yielding substantial growth and quality improvement.

Deb’s career has given her the unique experience of developing managers and leaders with both paid staff and hundreds of volunteers while leading and guiding start-up and turnaround organizations. She has groomed hundreds of leaders, networked with influential community leaders, led multi-million-dollar capital and annual campaigns, and developed partnerships amongst organizations. She has piloted new initiatives and programs and overseen teams to implement strategic plans to leverage the organization’s effectiveness. She was constantly called upon to develop communication strategies and core messages for internal and external communication.

Deb is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington with a B.A. in Communications. Deb holds a Certificate from NTL, the first and leading Organizational Development Certificate Program in the US and abroad. She received her training for Executive Coaching from The Coaching Academy, ICF certification anticipated in Spring 2018. She also holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Luther Seminary in Minneapolis, MN. She has served on the board for the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses, has been active in chamber events, and continues to provide volunteer leadership in the Church.
