Megan Sands – As an Associate Consultant for TurningWest, Megan supports the Consultant team’s accomplishment and management of client projects and deliverables. She works eagerly to advance the team’s practice and transformational work of organization development.

Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Minor in Business Administration from California Baptist University. She is continuing her education with a Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology at California State University, Long Beach. While studying in undergrad, she worked in the International Center at California Baptist University providing support for transitioning international students, developing programs, and planning events to celebrate diversity and encourage campus wide cross-cultural engagement.

She held responsibilities as a Research Assistant in Dean Gustafson’s Principles and Practices for Just Engagement Lab, applying for grants, developing and presenting a curriculum, and assisting the research on just engagement in short term mission and service projects. In her studies and experiences, she seeks to work hard, achieve and learn; she is motivated by values of authenticity, teamwork, justice and diversity.

Megan learns and adapts quickly to new environments and opportunities. She enjoys the fast pace and variation in tasks involving research, project planning, and development, and client interaction in her role. She assists team members with focus, diligence and positivity.

When Megan is not working or studying, she values spending time with family and friends, eating good food, going to the movies, reading and traveling.
